Dallas is also home to the biggest state fair in the U.S., the State Fair of Texas. Besides the great food, wonderful exhibits, and exciting concerts, the State Fair of Texas is home to one of our favorite Texans, Big Tex.

If you would rather go outside and play sports, Dallas also has you covered. There are over 400 parks on 21,000 acres of land in Dallas. Within these parks are over 60 miles of biking and jogging trails, 60 swimming pools, 258 tennis courts and six golf courses. If you would rather have a little more leisurely experience, Dallas parks also contain 232 playgrounds and 258 picnic areas.
